A Totally Blog Worthy Trip to Atlanta

The first week of March we went to Atlanta to see Neko and company. We had a really great time. So great that it has been difficult to distill our experience into blog-form. So here is a recap, which will have to do until we are able to really give this blog the time it deserves: We ate really well every day, laughed a lot, and went to bed at 9:30 every night. Just like in college, only with more babies.

Neko has a lovely little house to match her lovely little family.

One of the best parts of our trip was introducing Benjamin and Neko.

The introductions were made in the living room: Neko, Benjamin. Benjamin, Neko. (Benjamin, if you would just turn your head you will see that Neko is right there next to you.)

Hello, Neko.

I said, HELLO NEKO!

Neko, you are cute. Let me touch your face.

I think we came on a little strong.

Why We Don't Drink Water

The AP reported today that a vast array of pharmaceuticals — including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones — have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans.

"We know we are being exposed to other people's drugs through our drinking water, and that can't be good," says Dr. David Carpenter, who directs the Institute for Health and the Environment of the State University of New York at Albany.

So that's why we mellow out as we get older! It's the anti-depressants and mood stabilizers in the water.
